What We Do
STOP’s Field Offices identify locations where victims are being held against their will in involuntary servitude. They then share this information with local authorities, encouraging them to free victims and arrest traffickers. Field Offices and Support Centers provide medical, social, and educational services to victims of sex trafficking. Field Offices are located in areas where victims are brought to serve as sex slaves. These offices offer immediate support for victims upon rescue, and coordinate services on behalf of the victims with the Support Centers in their home countries.
Support Centers are located in countries where victims are recruited. Their purpose is twofold: to provide victims with medical and psychological assistance, and to offer access to vocational and English language training.
Proactively, STOP is an available resource for anyone with questions about sex trafficking, or anyone who has been offered a job abroad and is suspicious about its validity.
